NY Writers Coalition: Writing Aloud
Now is THE time to stand together and write aloud. Created by NY Writers Coalition in 2003, the Writing Aloud Reading Series unites NYWC’s community of writers and activists with some of the nation’s most prominent literary figures to share prose, poetry, and other writings in some of New York City’s most inspiring spaces. Here’s how it works: 1) You get a writing prompt from a special guest writer. This month, we welcome poet April Ranger! 2) WRITE. 3) Hit the mic (if you want to). Feel free to just sit back and listen too! This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome to write and share in this safe space.
